Dear Uncle at yor son Thomas Request I address you a line to let you know that we are all well with Thomas arrived safe & in good health and is now at work for me by the Month on this Land you talked of Buying when you was here with seven more hands I am here with my famiy and think of remaining her and going into the Sheep &Horse raising the weather is remarkably fine & health was never Better times are hard Money searse thocrops look finePalatics runs high Clays prospects are good Religion is low Business deals we hope here for the Better Please write and direct your Letter to Stones post office Noble County Indiana As to the money you was going to send Thomas you had better get a check on the Indiana Branch Bank at Fort Wayne or South Bend or get a bank bill the size you want to Send out it in two Send one half at one time and the other at a nother Father & Mother wishes to be remembered they are well. Our old folks are getting not so well as when you was here the rest are all well no change Since you was here
