His ancestors were land owners, quite wealthy in comparison to other people. He came from the main house in Austria. There are many Latta's in Pittsburg and elsewhere that came from Pchalini, and they all trace their ancestry to the main house of the Latta family. The certificates of all happenings are kept on record in the Parish Church at Pchilini. * Children: 5 sons / 3 Daughters.
